Tanmiahs’s net profits fall 8% in H1-26; revenues hit SAR 1.5bn

Riyadh - Mubasher: Tanmiah Food Company logged a net profit of SAR 19 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, a substantial increase from the SAR 500,000 recorded during the same period in 2025.

The company’s quarterly revenue rose by 21.51% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 789.20 million, driven by strong demand in the domestic market and regional export growth.

The agricultural business segment contributed a net profit of SAR 24.80 million, up 96.70% from the previous year. Fresh poultry revenues increased by 17.50%, supported by a 7.20% rise in sales volumes to 85.50 million birds.

Meanwhile, the food franchise operator’s restaurant segment narrowed its net loss by 51.70% to SAR 5.80 million, as revenues for the "Popeyes" chain grew by 23.10% following network expansion and improved operational efficiency.

For the first half (H1) of 2026, total revenue reached SAR 1.52 billion, up 14.61% compared to the first six months of 2025. However, net profit for the half-year period declined by 8.25% to SAR 17.80 million.

The company attributed the six-month profit compression to higher financing costs, which rose by SAR 16 million, and increased expenses related to diesel, logistics, and the commissioning of new assets under its expansion program. Earnings per share (EPS) for the period stood at SAR 0.89.
