Riyadh — Mubasher: Sama Healthy Water Factory Company (Sama Water) reported a net profit of SAR 3.49 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, representing a marginal decrease of 0.50% compared to SAR 3.51 million in H1-25.
Earnings per share (EPS) remained unchanged at SAR 0.07 in H1-26 when compared to H1-25, according to the income statements.
Revenue totaled SAR 41.93 million in H1-26, falling by 3.11% from SAR 43.28 million in the prior-year period.
Sama Water attributed the revenue decline in H1-26 primarily to a deliberate reduction in wholesale activity. This strategic shift was implemented to counter rising raw material costs and adjust selling prices, focusing on preserving profit margins and financial sustainability.
Despite the lower sales volume, the company stabilized its bottom line through improved performance in other income categories. This was supported by the absence of currency exchange losses during the current period, which had negatively impacted results in the previous year.
Total shareholders' equity grew by 3.54% to reach SAR 102.19 million in H1-26, compared to SAR 93.43 million a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the independent auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
