Dkhoun announces 67% profit decline in H1-26 despite revenue growth

Riyadh — Mubasher: Dkhoun National Trading Company announced its interim financial results for the six-month period ended on 30 June 2026, reporting a net profit of SAR 1.26 million.

The earnings represent a 67.04% decrease compared to the SAR 3.82 million recorded in H1-25, according to a bourse filing.

Earnings per share (EPS) subsequently declined to SAR 0.63 in H1-26 from SAR 1.91 in H1-25.

The company achieved a 20.15% increase in revenues, which rose to SAR 46.67 million during January-June 2026 from SAR 38.84 million in the prior-year period.

Dkhoun attributed this top-line growth to an increase in the number of physical branches, higher sales from the online store and external platforms, and the positive impact of marketing campaigns.

Despite the revenue gains, the bottom line was impacted by a significant rise in selling and marketing expenses related to promotional campaigns.

Dkhoun also cited higher general and administrative expenses linked to operational expansion and an increase in finance costs as primary reasons for the profit decline.

Moreover, total shareholders' equity stood at SAR 59.63 million at the end of H1-26, down 1.53% from SAR 60.56 million a year earlier.

Meanwhile, the external auditor issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
