Development Works Food to vote on business expansion at mid-September EGM

Riyadh — Mubasher: Development Works Food Company has invited its shareholders to attend an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) scheduled for 16 September 2026, according to a bourse filing.

The meeting will be held virtually at 19:30 via modern technology to vote on several key agenda items.

The primary agenda includes a vote on amending Article 4 of the company’s bylaws, which outlines Development Works Food's objectives.

According to the disclosure, the proposed changes involve expanding the firm's scope into construction, including non-residential buildings, and logistics activities such as refrigerated, dry, and frozen food storage.

The amendment also covers various food service activities ranging from fast-food outlets and mobile food carts to catering services for aircraft and sports facilities.

Additionally, shareholders will vote to elect a new member to the board of directors for the current term, which began on 30 October 2024 and is scheduled to end on 29 October 2027.

Electronic voting for the assembly items is set to commence at 01:00 on 13 September 2026 and will remain open until the conclusion of the meeting.

Attendance and voting eligibility are restricted to shareholders registered at the Securities Depository Center by the end of the trading session preceding the EGM.
