| Mr Mustafa Ahmed Salman
| Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Salman is Chairman and CEO of United Securities – Oman and Deputy Chairman of Oman REIT Fund. He also serves as Board Member at Oman United Insurance SAOG, Board Member at Sharqiyah Desalination and Board Member at Salman Corporation LLC. He founded United Securities – Oman in 1994 and it grew to hold the largest market share in the Sultanate as per official records. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mustafa Salman served on the board of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was the Chairman of Majan Glass. He was a director of Muscat Securities Market and the vice chairman of Muscat Clearing and Depository Company. He also served as a board member of the Oman Olympic Committee and the Oman Handball Association and was a director of National Pharmaceutical Company. Today, he is the honorary consul of the Australian Government to the Sultanate of Oman where he plays a valuable role in strengthening the ties between both countries and serves as the deputy chairman of the Banking, Finance and Insurance Committee of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Currently he is a committee member of Oman Kuwait Investment Company. Mr. Mustafa Salman has also expanded his expertise into the construction sector where he is an owner and founder of his construction company Mustafa Ahmed Salman Trading Enterprises (MASTE). He worked in accounting domain in the government and also worked as a Fianancial & Administration Manager in Oman Portfolio Company. Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Salman holds a BA in Accounting and a certificate of Global Financial Markets, and is a holder of the ‘International Capital Markets Qualification’ from the Securities Institute of London. Mr. Salman is also a registered broker with an advisory license from MSM. |
