Ms L.S. Goh | Ms. Goh was appointed to the Board as an Alternate Director to Mr. Gerard Ewe Keng Lim in 2010. She was previously in legal practice before joining Maxis Communications Berhad Group in 1993 as their in-house legal counsel. Since 2007, she has been the Senior Vice President - Legal of Genting Berhad. She holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University in Australia and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in the United States. Mr K.L. Chong | Mr. Chong was appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2010. He is also the Executive Vice President-Finance of Genting Berhad, a listed company in Malaysia and the holding company of UBC’s substantial shareholder, Vista Knowledge Pte. Ltd. He began his career with an international accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur in 1981 and joined Sime Darby Berhad in 1985 before leaving to join the Rashid Hussain Berhad group of companies (“RHB Group”) in 1993. He left the RHB Group in 2003 to join Genting Berhad. Mr C.C. Beng | Mr. Chan Chee Beng, a Malaysian, was appointed to the Board of Directors on the 5th of June 2008 and subsequently to the Board of Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd. and SLT Property Management (Private) Limited. He also serves as a member of the Audit Committee. He has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking, financial management and accounting including stints with Ernst & Young and Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd prior to joining the Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd (“UTSB”) Group in 1992 as head of corporate finance. He is presently an executive director of UTSB and serves on the Boards of several other companies in which UTSB has significant interests such as Maxis Berhad (listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad) (“Maxis”), Maxis Communications Berhad and Binariang GSM Sdn Bhd, having an operational base in Malaysia, Bumi Armada Berhad (“BAB”) (listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad), an offshore oil and gas service provider. |
Mr L.Y. Fah | Yoong Fah Lew obtained his professional accounting qualification (ACCA UK) in 1993. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Malaya since 2000. He started his career in 1990 at BDO Binder in the Auditing arm. He moved on to MBF Finance and later joined Faber Castell as an Accountant. In 1995, he joined Philips Malaysia as a Senior Accountant and progressed through various positions and functions in Finance. In 2000, he was attached with Philips Singapore and subsequently promoted to Financial Controller in 2003. In 2006, he returned to Malaysia and joined Danone Dumex Malaysia as the Finance Director where he also served as its Director and Company Secretary with responsibilities across Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei. |

Mr A. Kamaludin | Chairman / Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director Datuk Azzat Kamaludin was appointed to the Board of Dialog Axiata as Chairman and Director on 21st July 2008. He is a Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of Axiata, and is a partner in the law firm of Azzat & Izzat, Malaysia. He started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co from 1993 to 2002 in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services working with companies of diversified businesses from local to international exposure. Previously he joined Celcom in 2003 and was later appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in May 2005. He was then given a new responsibility as the Chief Corporate Officer (CCO) in May 2009 looking after a wide range business portfolio which encompasses Enterprise Sales, Legal, Regulatory Management, MVNO and International Business. |
