Zain KSA announces e-voting for OGM agenda items

Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia, commercially known as Zain KSA, has officially announced the start date for electronic voting regarding the agenda items of its upcoming Ordinary General Assembly.

Shareholders registered in the Tadawulaty services have been able to cast their votes starting from 01:00 on 26 June 2026. The e-voting will remain open for several days, concluding only once the counting committee has finished tallying the votes following the assembly session.

Shareholders are invited to participate in the first meeting of the assembly which is scheduled to take place virtually on 30 June 2026, according to a bourse filing. The move aligns with the company’s commitment to digital integration and shareholder accessibility, utilizing the Tadawulaty system to facilitate remote participation and governance.

Zain KSA detailed the logistical arrangements for its Ordinary General Assembly Meeting. Due to the continued adoption of digital corporate governance practices in the Kingdom, the meeting will be conducted via modern technology, allowing shareholders to attend and deliberate on company matters without the need for physical presence.

To ensure maximum shareholder turnout and facilitate the voting process, the company has confirmed that electronic voting will open well in advance of the meeting date.

The company emphasized that the electronic voting service is provided free of charge to all shareholders. This initiative is part of a broader effort by Saudi listed companies to enhance transparency and encourage retail and institutional investors to exercise their voting rights.

Shareholders who wish to participate must register through the Tadawulaty portal, which serves as the primary platform for investor relations and corporate actions within the Saudi capital market.

Zain KSA has also established a direct line of communication for its investors to ensure clarity regarding the agenda items. The company’s Investor Relations department is prepared to receive and address inquiries related to the meeting.
