Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Tuesday’s trading session in red, amidst a mixed performance by main market sectors.
The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) slipped 0.09% or 7.16 points and closed at the level of 8,198.97 points.
Traded volumes decreased to 143.522 million shares compared with 175.91 million shares on Monday, while values declined to SAR 3.713 billion, down from SAR 4.23 billion yesterday.
At the end of today’s trade, 96 stocks closed in the green zone, with Aseer leading the gainers and surging by 7.25%, while Allianz SF led the declining 85 stocks with 4.51% losses.
Aramco recorded the highest turnover with SAR 394.85 million, with 12.55 million traded shares.
As for the market sectors performance, materials and energy rose by 0.44% and 0.34%, respectively, while the telecom and banks indices lost 0.33% and 0.17%, in that order.
