Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Sudatel Telecom Group registered net profits worth $104.70 million in 2025, signaling a leap from $18.25 million in 2024.
The earnings per share (EPS) soared to $0.075 in 2025 from $0.013 in 2024, according to the preliminary financial results.
The telecom operator generated revenue growth to $452 million in 2025 when compared to $381.68 million in the previous year.
The total assets, meanwhile, declined to $656.15 million as of 31 December 2025 from $758.79 million at the end of 2024.
Sudatel Telecom stated: “The excellent performance during the period under review in Sudan is overshadowing the poor situation in West Africa. The crisis in Sudan continues to disrupt the business operations, especially in the western regions.”
The company added: “During the past months the technical teams have gained access to various parts of the network and other facilities in the Khartoum area. This has enabled repairs to recover the network sites to generate telecom services. The revenue continues to recover over this year. The Sudanese pound continues to depreciate against the USD.”
In the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Sudatel Telecom turned profitable at $71.08 million and generated operating revenue worth $327.92 million.
