Riyadh – Mubasher: The Helicopter Company, an affiliate to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), is planning to own 50 helicopters by 2025, the company’s CEO Yahya Al Ghoraibi said during a meeting with Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, governor of Riyadh, held on Tuesday.
The company contributes to the development of the Saudi commercial civil aviation sector in line with the kingdom's Vision 2030, Al Ghoraibi added, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Al Ghoraibi noted that The Helicopter Company participated in Saudi Airshow and Dubai Airshow in 2019.
Last year, PIF launched The Helicopter Company with an initial capital of SAR 565 million (Around $150.6 million).
