Saudi Kayan’s losses deepen 27% in 2025; accumulated losses cross SAR 6.5bn

Riyadh - Mubasher: The net losses attributable to shareholders of Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company widened by 27.17% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.29 billion in 2025 from SAR 1.80 billion.

The loss per share reached SAR 1.53 as of 31 December 2025, up from SAR 1.20 a year earlier, according to the financial statements.

The Tadawul-listed company recorded an annual decrease of 3.06% to SAR 8.45 billion at the end of 2025, down from SAR 8.72 billion. 

At the end of December 2025, Saudi Kayan's accumulated losses reached SAR 6.52 billion, equivalent to 43.47% of its SAR 15 billion capital.

During the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Saudi Kayan incurred 43.84% YoY higher net losses at SAR 1.60 billion, compared to SAR 1.11 billion.
