Saudi Cabinet approves strategy to support entrepreneurship, SME growth

Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Cabinet has approved the Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Strategy, as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and support the growth of SMEs.

The approval was made during the Cabinet’s meeting in Jeddah, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

The National Entrepreneurship and SMEs Strategy opens broader opportunities for growth and expansion, enhances their ability to benefit from promising opportunities, and enables them to access new markets both locally and internationally.

The strategy is expected to support the development of Saudi Arabia’s entrepreneurship and SME sector, which plays a key role in diversifying the economy and advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The move comes as the Kingdom continues to strengthen its support for entrepreneurs and SMEs through initiatives aimed at improving the business environment and enabling private-sector growth.
