Mubasher: Saudi Arabia plays a vital role in the region's economic growth, Soha El-Turky, the Deputy CEO at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), stated.
El-Turky indicated that the Kingdom represents a key opportunity for business owners worldwide, given the substantial volume of investments and recent major development.
Her remarks came during an exclusive interview with Mubasher Info on the sidelines of the opening of NBE's first branch in Riyadh last Friday.
Touching upon the bilateral relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, El-Turky mentioned that the bank has a large number of Egyptian clients in Saudi Arabia, adding that several Saudi firms operate in the Arab Republic.
El-Turky emphasized that NBE's presence in such an important market as Saudi Arabia strengthens customer confidence in the bank both within the Gulf country and the wider region as well.
For his part, Yehia Aboulfotouh, Deputy Chairman of the NBE, indicated that the inauguration was supposed to take place earlier but was delayed due to the repercussions of COVID-19.
