SRMG discloses SAR 600m marketing services contract

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG) announced that its subsidiary, Taoq Public Relations Company, has entered into a major service agreement with a commercial firm specializing in publicity, advertising, and public relations.

The contract, valued at SAR 200 million annually, is set to run for a duration of three years, bringing the total estimated value of the deal to SAR 600 million.

The agreement focuses on the provision of comprehensive media and marketing services, reinforcing SRMG’s position as a leading integrated media house in the MENA region.

According to a regulatory filing on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul), the contract was officially signed on 28 June 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, Taoq Public Relations will leverage its operational expertise to deliver a suite of media and marketing solutions to the client.

While the specific identity of the counterparty was described as a commercial company active in the advertising and public relations sector, the scale of the annual commitment highlights the significant demand for specialized communication services within the Saudi market.

The financial implications of this contract are expected to be substantial for the group. SRMG management indicated that the positive financial impact of the agreement is projected to materialize in the company’s consolidated financial statements starting from the second quarter (Q2) of the 2026 fiscal year.

Given the three-year tenure of the contract, the revenue stream is expected to provide a consistent contribution to the group’s top-line growth through mid-2029.

In compliance with governance and transparency standards, SRMG confirmed that there are no related parties involved in this transaction.

This clarification ensures that the contract was negotiated on an arm's-length basis, free from any conflict of interest involving the company’s board of directors or major shareholders.

The group noted that the awarding of this contract serves as a testament to the market confidence placed in SRMG and its various subsidiaries. The company attributed the successful signing to its extensive experience and its established local and international presence.

As the Saudi media landscape continues to evolve in line with broader economic transformation goals, SRMG has been diversifying its service offerings through its specialized arms, such as Taoq Public Relations, to capture a larger share of the advertising and strategic communications market.

This latest development follows a period of strategic expansion for SRMG, which operates a vast portfolio of media platforms.

By securing long-term service contracts with high annual valuations, the group continues to solidify its financial position and operational footprint within the professional services and media sectors.

The execution of this contract aligns with the group’s broader commercial strategy to provide integrated marketing solutions.

By managing large-scale accounts through its subsidiaries, SRMG aims to utilize its infrastructure and professional expertise to meet the increasing requirements of the advertising and public relations industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond.

In the first quarter (Q1) of 2026, the group’s net profits attributable to the shareholders grew by 6.88% to SAR 33.07 million from SAR 30.94 million in Q1-25.
