Riyadh - Mubasher: Riyadh Cement Company penned an agreement with Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Company Limited (TCDRI) valued at $14.90 million.
The agreement, which excludes value-added tax, focuses on the implementation of the Industrial Lighthouses project as part of the company’s strategic program to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
The contract spans a duration of 24 months and covers a comprehensive scope of work including digital transformation, automation, and process optimization.
According to the regulatory filing, the project will utilize Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and predictive maintenance to improve energy consumption and production performance.
Riyadh Cement expects the financial impact of the project to appear gradually throughout the implementation phases.
To achieve the project’s objectives, the company noted it will make supporting investments in infrastructure, value-added buildings, and related equipment.
The initiative aligns with the firm’s long-term goals for operational sustainability and cost reduction through technological integration. There are no related parties involved in the transaction.
The company recently signed a deal valued at EUR 279,000 with Cachapuz for Weighing and Logistics to supply, install, and operate advanced technical solutions for automating its logistics and distribution processes.
