Rimath unveils stock split recommendation to boost liquidity

Riyadh – Mubasher: Rimath Hospitality Company announced that its board of directors recommended a stock split to the extraordinary general assembly (EGM) during a meeting held on 7 October 2026, according to a bourse filing.

The proposal involves reducing the nominal value of the company's shares from SAR 10 to SAR 0.50 per share.

Under the suggested plan, the total number of shares will increase from 1.95 million to 39 million.

Rimath confirmed that its total capital will remain unchanged at SAR 19.50 million following the adjustment.

The board stated that the primary objectives of the split are to increase the number of available shares, enhance trading liquidity, and attract a wider segment of investors.

If approved by the extraordinary general assembly, the split will apply to all shareholders registered in the company’s records at the Securities Depository Center by the end of EGM day.

The recommendation also includes an amendment to Article 7 of the company’s bylaws regarding capital.

Rimath noted that it will proceed with the necessary regulatory procedures and seek approvals from competent authorities before finalizing the change.

It is worth noting that the company logged net losses of SAR 7.33 million in the first half (H1) of 2026, reversing a net profit of SAR 1.93 million a year earlier.
