Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Monday’s trading with a fall of 0.53% or 54.16 points to the level of 10,796.32 points.
Trading volume reached 772,000 shares exchanged at QAR 30.2 million through 558 transactions.
The fall was due to the decline in some blue chips as Industries Qatar, Doha Bank and Commercial Bank of Qatar fell by 1.5%, 1.3% and 0.72% respectively.
The market’s sectors dropped collectively, topped by the transportation sector with a 1.13% decrease.
The industrial and banking sectors also retreated by 0.73% and 0.37% respectively.
