Riyadh — Mubasher: The stock of Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) rebounded from key support levels, with technical indicators pointing to a potential end to the stock’s recent correction and an improvement in short-term price momentum.
The stock has moved back above its 9-day and 21-day exponential moving averages (EMA 9 and EMA 21), with a bullish crossover beginning to form. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) has also climbed above 50, suggesting that buying momentum is strengthening.
However, trading volume has declined during the rebound, indicating that the upward movement has yet to receive the stronger trading activity typically associated with a sustained rally.
Petro Rabigh shares are currently trading at SAR 17.67, with technical analysis identifying SAR 18.15 as the first resistance level and near-term price target. A breakout above this level could open the way toward SAR 18.60, followed by a longer-term target of SAR 19.45, which would mark a new price peak if reached.
On the downside, SAR 17 represents secondary support, while SAR 16.50 is the stock’s main support level. The analysis sets a stop-loss level at SAR 17.10, with a break below this threshold potentially signaling a failed rebound and renewed selling pressure.
Since the beginning of 2026, Petro Rabigh shares have recorded a substantial rally, rising from a low of SAR 6.36 in January to a peak of SAR 18.77 in September. The advance was supported by strong buying pressure before the stock entered a corrective phase following its September high.
The latest rebound suggests that the stock may be regaining upward momentum, although its ability to sustain the recovery will depend on breaking through near-term resistance levels and a potential pickup in trading volume.
