Muscat Securities Market’s main index, MSM30, declined 0.02% or 1.47 points to close at 6,473 points on Wednesday. MSM Sharia index ended 0.04% lower to 997.72 points.
MSM’s industrial sector topped the gainers after adding 0.70%, while the financial sector retreated 0.28%.
Today’s turnover totalled OMR 4.478 million, as trading volume increased to 18.31 million shares which were traded through 692 transactions.
Galfar Engineering and Contracting topped the gainers with a 9.17% increase, while Gulf Investment Services Holding led the decliners after losing 9.77%.
Lastly, Galfar was the most active, trading 9.2 million shares at a total value of OMR 1.20 billion.
