Mubasher: Crude oil prices fell during Friday's early trades amid profit-taking ahead of the end of the year holidays.
Brent crude futures lost 0.39% to $54.32 per barrel by 07:45 GMT, while US crude shed 0.49% to $52.4 pb.
Christmas and the New Year holidays often coincide with profit-taking in the oil market.
