Riyadh – Mubasher: Naseej International Trading Company announced the resignation of independent audit committee member Yasser bin Suleiman Al Aqeel and the subsequent appointment of Osama bin Abdullah Al Yousef to the position.
The board of directors approved the changes during a meeting held on 28 September 2026.
Al Aqeel, who joined the committee on 16 July 2024, submitted his resignation on 28 September, citing personal circumstances. His departure will be effective on 30 September.
The board has appointed Al Yousef as an independent member from outside the board to complete the current committee term, which is scheduled to conclude on 15 July 2028. His term officially begins on 1 October.
Al Yousef holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, obtained in 2008. He has over 18 years of experience in executive financial leadership, including expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and corporate governance.
His professional background includes managing financial operations for initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and IFRS convergence initiatives.
