Nadec ratifies SAR 5bn strategic plan until 2031

Riyadh — Mubasher: National Agricultural Development Company (Nadec) announced that its board of directors approved a new strategic business plan for the period 2027 to 2031 during a meeting held on 2 November 2026, according to a bourse disclosure.

The plan involves estimated capital investments totaling SAR 5 billion to drive Nadec’s next phase of strategic transformation.

The strategy focuses on three main pillars: strengthening core business operations, expanding growth engines, and ensuring business sustainability.

Key priorities include enhancing the dairy, juice, and food processing sectors, alongside expanding the protein business through red meat supply and processing facilities.

Nadec also intends to develop its agricultural sector by utilizing technology-backed solutions and high-value crops to support national food security.

The listed company also stated that the plan will be implemented in phases, integrating existing projects and previously announced acquisitions while evaluating future strategic opportunities.

While the adoption of the plan has no immediate material financial impact, the company expects the financial impact to appear gradually starting from 2027 as execution progresses.

The strategy aims to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance supply chain resilience across the company's integrated food solutions network.
