Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health awarded Lana Medical Company a SAR 40.94 million project contract to provide hazardous healthcare waste collection and storage services across the Eastern Province.
The project, awarded on 9 June 2026, spans 60 months commencing upon site handover following the completion of contractual and regulatory procedures, according to a bourse disclosure.
Under the agreement, Lana Medical will deliver specialized services for the safe management of hazardous healthcare waste in accordance with technical, operational, and environmental standards.
The project aims to boost public health protection and reduce environmental risks associated with the handling, transportation, and storage of medical waste.
In line with the Saudi Vision 2030, the project drives Lana Medical's goals to foster its presence in the environmental services sector within the Kingdom and expand its integrated solutions for medical waste management.
Meanwhile, the award is expected to reflect on the company’s financial results during the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.
Last month, Lana Medical and the National Environmental Academy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to bolster cooperation within the waste management sector.
