Kuwait-Mubasher: The fifth-edition of Kuwait’s currency notes will no longer be legal tender starting from 1 October, as the Central Bank of Kuwait will withdraw all old Kuwaiti banknotes from trading.
Old notes’ holders can exchange the old editions for the new sixth editions at local banks only until Thursday, according to Kuwait News Agency.
The new editions were issued on 29 June, 2014 by the central bank.
