Jarir sees 15% higher net profits in Q3-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Jarir Marketing Company reported a preliminary net profit of SAR 374 million for the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, representing a 15.11% increase from SAR 324.90 million in the same period last year.

The retailer attributed the growth to a 7.81% rise in quarterly sales, which reached SAR 3.15 billion, bolstered by strong performance in the smartphone division.

Operating profit for the quarter rose by 14.73% to SAR 396.40 million, while gross profit climbed by 14.42% to SAR 499.10 million.

Jarir noted that profit margins improved as a result of a favorable sales mix and reduced promotional activity due to limited product supply.

On a sequential basis, net profit surged by 58.74% compared to the SAR 235.60 million recorded in the second quarter, aided by the back-to-school season, which drove demand for school supplies, computers, and tablets.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2026, net profit reached SAR 863 million, up 16.72% from SAR 739.40 million a year earlier.

Total revenue for the period stood at SAR 8.97 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 0.72 from SAR 0.62.

During this period, the company expanded its footprint by opening five new showrooms and two replacement branches across Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

In Q2-26, the net profits jumped by 19.47% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 235.60 million.
