Riyadh — Mubasher: Herfy Food Services Company announced the expected financial impact of revised electricity and water consumption tariffs.
Following an internal assessment, the company projects that the new utility rates will lead to a 1.20% increase in its annual cost of revenue.
This estimate is based on the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended on 31 December 2025.
The adjusted tariffs are scheduled to take effect on 1 January 2027. In this regard, Herfy expects the financial impact of these changes to be reflected in its financial results starting from the first quarter (Q1) of 2027.
In response to the anticipated rise in utility expenses, the company said it will maintain its focus on operational efficiency and cost-optimisation strategies.
These measures are intended to mitigate the overall impact on the company's financial performance.
Herfy remains committed to improving productivity to manage the Kingdom's evolving regulatory and cost environment.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2026, Herfy turned profitable at SAR 2.07 million, against net loss of SAR 65.82 million in 9M-25.
