Emaar The Economic City stock seeks recovery after 6-month low

Riyadh — Mubasher: Emaar The Economic City’s stock is attempting to stage a technical rebound and stabilize near key support levels after a prolonged decline pushed it to a six-month low.

The stock is approaching potential reversal levels, with investors monitoring its ability to break through technical resistance and ease the selling pressure that has weighed on its recent performance. It is currently trading at SAR 9.20, below the middle band of the Bollinger Bands indicator, which is used to assess price volatility and identify potential trend signals.

Trading volumes remain around average levels, indicating cautious market sentiment as investors await clearer signs of a directional shift.

A sustained break above the Bollinger Bands’ middle line could open the way for an initial target of SAR 9.50, followed by resistance at SAR 9.70.

In case buying momentum strengthens and the rebound gains confirmation, the stock could advance toward SAR 10.20, signaling a potential improvement in its short- to medium-term price trend. On the downside, SAR 9.00 represents a key support level and a potential stop-loss threshold for investors holding long positions.

A sustained break below this level could expose the stock to further losses and new lows, extending the downtrend that has seen it fall from a six-month high of SAR 12.19 to a recent low of SAR 9.06.

Over the past six months, the stock has lost significant ground amid persistent selling pressure and is now trading close to its recent low.

The prevailing technical outlook remains bearish, with any near-term recovery likely to be viewed as a corrective rebound unless the stock breaks above key resistance levels on stronger trading volumes, providing further confirmation of a potential trend reversal.
