Dubai - Mubasher: Emaar Properties and Dubai South have launched Emaar South with a total area of 7 square kilometres.
The Dubai-listed developer’s chairman Mohamed Alabbar refused to unveil the project’s value, confirming that the developer has a no problem with financing.
Emaar will finance the project either through its debt issuances or via liquidity generated from sale returns.
The first phase of the project is owned 50/50 by Emaar and Dubai Aviation City Corporation, according to Khalifa Al Zaffin, executive chairman of the aviation city.
The project will developed through four phases, Al Zaffin added.
