Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr signed an agreement with Agence Française de Développement (AFD), under which a 20.351 million euro grant will be awarded to finance the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises.
The agreement was signed with AFC’s director for Cairo office Stephanie Lanfranchi, at the presence of Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed, as well as Head of European Union Delegation to Egypt James Moran and French ambassador to Cairo Andre Parant.
Nasr said the grant is aimed to boost SMEs financing via the fund for supporting agricultural and development research.
