Egypt sells EGP 39.3bn T-bills on Thursday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has sold treasury bills (T-bills) with maturities of 182 days and 357 days totalling EGP 39.3 billion on Thursday on behalf of the Ministry of Finance (MoF).

The 182-day bills received orders worth of EGP 12.42 billion with an average yield of 14.87%, according to a statement.

Meanwhile, the 357-day bills received orders worth of EGP 26.89 billion with an average yield of 14.54%.
