Egypt defers utility payments for tourism, airline companies

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet decided to defer all water, electricity, and gas bill payments for tourism businesses and private airline companies for six months.

Payments will be rescheduled to begin in October 2020 in a bid to help businesses in the tourism industry that was hardly hit by the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, prime minister Mostafa Madbouly said in a conference on Wednesday.

It is noteworthy that the total number of COVID-19 cases in Egypt amounted to 1,450.
