Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled up by 0.33% or 8.93 points at Monday’s close, settling at 2,693.17 points.
Traded volumes amounted to 92.2 million shares exchanged through 2,409 transactions, with a total turnover of AED 113.69 million.
Meanwhile, the market cap value soared by AED 850 million to AED 366.88 billion from AED 366.03 billion on Sunday.
Sector-wise, the investment and financial services sector topped the winners by adding 0.89%, whereas the consumer staples sector index was the only loser and declined by 0.47%.
Ithmaar Holding came on top of the rising stocks with a 7.10% increase, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) was the top faller with 2.35%.
Emaar Properties logged the highest turnover of AED 32.67 million, while Deyaar properties led the trading activity through 19.79 million shares.
The blue-chip stock of Arabtec Holding edged higher by 0.83%, whereas DXB Entertainments was solely down by 1.73%.
