Cairo Housing unveils EGP 398m capital hike via H1-25’s share premium

Cairo - Mubasher: The equityholders of Cairo for Housing and Development Company have approved increasing its issued and paid-up capital to EGP 928.38 million from EGP 530.50 million.

The EGP 397.87 million raise value will be funded from the share premium reported in the company’s financial statements for the first half (H1) of 2025, according to a bourse filing.

The increase amount will be implemented through the issuance of 795.75 million shares at a nominal value of EGP 0.50 per share

It is worth noting that the bonus shares will be distributed to shareholders as 0.75 bonus shares for every one existing share.

During the first nine months (9M) of 2025, Cairo Housing registered 94.23% lower consolidated net profits after tax at EGP 66.82 million, compared to EGP 1.16 billion in 9M-24.
