Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 75 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 25 January.
Valued at EGP 25 billion, the first tranche holds a 91-day tenor until 28 April 2026, according to official data.
The second auction stood at EGP 50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 273 days until 27 October this year.
On 22 January, the central bank unveiled T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 95 billion through two offerings.
