Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 75 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 11 January 2026.
The first auction stood at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 14 April 2026, according to official data.
The second offering was valued at EGP 50 billion, holding a 273-day tenor until 13 October this year.
Last Thursday, the CBE announced T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 105 billion via two issues.
