Mubasher: Boeing Co, the leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defence, space and security systems, has been awarded a $92 million contract for providing full-fledged logistics support for the Kuwaiti government, the US Department of Defense said.
As part of the Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programme, the contract entails offering support for 22 jets of the model F/A-18E, in addition to six planes of the model F/A-18F Super Hornet, according to the Defence World’s website.
F/A-18E and F/A-18F Super Hornet jets are twin-engine, carrier-capable, and multirole fighter.
