Riyadh – Mubasher: BAAN Holding Group has commenced construction of its new entertainment project, Playocity, located at the Westfield center in Jeddah.
The development is being executed in partnership with the international brand Hasbro and is designed to cover an area of approximately 2,600 square meters.
The project aligns with the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in the family entertainment sector and capitalize on growth opportunities within the Saudi market.
The facility will feature interactive activities and immersive experiences based on Hasbro’s globally recognized characters.
This initiative supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to enhance the quality of life and develop the domestic tourism and entertainment industry.
Management expects the construction phase to conclude with commercial operations scheduled to begin during the first quarter (Q1) of 2027.
BAAN Holding anticipates that the project will diversify its income sources and broaden its customer base. The financial impact of the Playocity project is expected to be reflected in the company’s financial results starting from the commencement of commercial operations in 2027.
On 14 September, the listed company received a written notice regarding the termination of its catering services contract for the NRC26 project.
