Al Jadaan opens 2nd edition of Money20/20 Middle East

Riyadh — Mubasher: Saudi Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP) Mohammed Al Jadaan inaugurated the second edition of Money20/20 Middle East in Riyadh.

During his speech, Al Jadaan highlighted the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its financial sector, attract capital, and expand investment opportunities as Saudi Vision 2030 enters its third phase.

He noted that the third phase will focus on maximizing the impact of reforms and building on the gains achieved so far. Key priorities include improving market efficiency, enabling the private sector to expand and compete, strengthening the Kingdom’s ability to attract capital, and broadening investment opportunities.

The minister said the FSDP has played a key role in developing a deeper and more diversified financial ecosystem by strengthening regulatory and legislative frameworks, deepening financial markets, expanding financing and investment options, and upgrading financial infrastructure to accommodate emerging technologies and innovative business models.

He added that reforms implemented under Vision 2030 have enhanced market efficiency, expanded opportunities for investment and innovation, and strengthened the financial sector’s contribution to economic growth.

Al Jadaan outlined the resilience of Saudi Arabia’s financial sector amid recent economic and geopolitical developments, attributing its stability to robust regulatory and institutional frameworks, as well as strong capital and liquidity positions.

Organized by Tahaluf, Money20/20 Middle East is being held from 14-16 September 2026 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center in Malham. The event brings together more than 38,000 visitors, 350 speakers, 600 investors, and 150 startups from the global financial and technology ecosystem.
