ADX ends Sunday on negative note

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Sunday’s trading session down by 1.42% to reach the level of 5,027.96 points.

The bourse’s turnover registered AED 102.51 million after 41.17 million shares were exchanged through 1,306 transactions.

Moreover, the market cap value decreased by AED 7.31 billion to AED 516.54 billion when compared to AED 523.85 billion on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Waha Capital led the decliners with 6.74%, whereas the United Arab Bank (UAB) headed the gainers with 13.11%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest turnover of AED 32.19 million, while Manazel Real Estate led the trading activity through the exchange of 11.11 million shares.

The blue chip stock of Dana Gas went down by 6.65%, followed by the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) with 3.30%.
