ACWA Power unveils new brand to drive global energy transition

Riyadh - Mubasher: ACWA Power Company unveiled a new brand identity that reflects its evolution from a Saudi pioneer to a global infrastructure platform serving people and communities, according to a press release.

The rebranding aligns with the company’s commitment to delivering affordable, sustainable, secure, and fast power and water across 15 countries. It also reflects the group's values of integrity, ingenuity, and impact.

Mohammad Abunayyan, Chairman of Acwa Power, said: “As we expand our presence from the Middle East to Africa, Asia, and beyond, this brand reflects who we are today: a values-driven company that measures success not just in megawatts and cubic meters, but in the jobs created, opportunities unlocked, and resilience built in every community where we operate.”

ACWA Power manages $115 billion in assets, operates 111 assets, provides dependable power to more than 75 million people, and supplies clean water to 34 million people daily.

The move aligns with ACWA Power’s strategy to double its assets under management to $250 billion by 2030 through accelerated investments in renewables, green hydrogen, and desalination.

For his part, Marco Arcelli, CEO of ACWA Power, stated: “Our company has changed dramatically in scale and scope. Today, we deliver 93 gigawatts (GW) of power and 9.30 million cubic meters (m³) of desalinated water per day across multiple continents, while our green ammonia activities are ramping up to deliver more than 1.20 million metric tons annually.

“This new brand is about making that transformation visible, but more importantly, it is about making our promise clear,” the CEO added.

In December 2025, ACWA Power signed a $400 million (SAR 1.50 billion) public-private partnership with the Azerbaijan government, represented by the State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA).
