Madinet Masr outlines vertical expansion, launch new subsidiaries

Cairo - Mubasher: Madinet Masr for Housing and Development has launched a number of subsidiaries and specialized platforms during 2024 and 2025, according to a press release.

Those new units are part of the group's vertical expansion strategy and its efforts to build an integrated platform across the various stages of real estate development.

The subsidiaries include Doors for sales and project management, CHUM for community management, Madinet Masr Finishing, and KLUB Kayan for sports club management.

The company’s diversified portfolio also comprises SAFE for real estate investment, Touba as an alternative payment plan solution, and Theqa offering innovative maintenance deposit alternatives, all operating under the Madinet Masr Innovation Labs.

Doors, the company's sales and management arm, was founded in mid-2024, while the remaining entities were launched throughout 2025, with the majority expected to reach full operational capacity in 2026.

The move complements the company’s diversified portfolio of 28 residential and three commercial and mixed-use projects. Those developments include Taj City, Sarai, Butterfly in Mostakbal City, Talala in New Heliopolis, and Zahw in Assiut.

On the regional front, Madinet Masr has taken strategic steps to expand into high-potential markets. These include the launch of Citydom in partnership with Waheej Real Estate in Saudi Arabia and the establishment of Cities of the World in Dubai to oversee projects outside Egypt.

It is worth noting that these initiatives mark the beginning of a new growth phase, driven by long-term partnerships and the regional expansion of a proven development model.

Earlier this month, Madinet Masr signed an EGP 3.30 billion memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Aboelwafa for Contracting and Real Estate Investment to carry out construction works for the ClubSide phase of the Taj City project.
